the Mechanical linkage on the this Ma Meter is diffrent to 
linkage on the Volt meter.
The knob on front of faceplate is mechanically linked to the indicator on the dial when this knob is rotated the indicator needle will move from left to right, 
( this configuration i.e. knob and indicator needle are probably not the correct matching as on the real radio but this is only for effect on this Model )

when the front control knob on the faceplate is rotated the needle on the meter "deflects"  with the  mechanical rotation
 ( note the varying position's of the meter needle with the knob rotation )
